Just another typical Dog Walk.... or is it!?
Even though it's nice I feel like there's a good safe side and then a dangerous creepy side. Our place being on the good side near the main gates where the community pool and exercise room is.
Took Bailey out for a walk throughout the small community tonight so we could explore this whole place and learn our surroundings. Bailey and I prefer late night walks due to Nevada having a hotter summertime than Hell itself.
So we were out there last night checking things out. It's 2 am so it's nice and quiet. Nobody's out there's nice night lighting all over and the one good thing about the desert is cooler night's.
The further we walk and further we get from our place we start to notice those small things. A broken light here a baseball bat in the back of a pickup Truck here. Hmmm.
So Bailey and I are about to turn a corner and walk down one of the alley ways when all of a sudden my eye's spot a pack of wild Cat's blocking the path of the sidewalk. I swear there must have been fifty of em'. Or maybe just five who knows.....
These Cats all glared at us. I just stopped and looked as they all seemed completely unafraid of me and my Dog, small as he may be he's still a Dog. The Cats' glares at us seem to say, how dare you outsiders encroach on our turf. You had best leave now unless you want to get fucked up.
We started to back away and as we did the biggest fattest Cat of the bunch actually started to follow us. I've never been encountered by a pack of predators on an African Safari before but this seemed just as scary. Maybe even worse. I kept walking back toward the main sidewalk near one of the Parking lots but the big black and white Cat kept pursuing us.
Just when we got back to the Parking lot far enough from where the Cat seemed to be losing interest in us I turn around to go around to continue our walk and almost bump into a Troll like creature. At least I think it was a troll.... It about four feet tall and I unable to identify the sex of the creature. It also had a small dog with it, unleashed and seemed unclean.
Fearing for my safety and my Dog's I attempted to exchange pleasantries with the small elf like..... Woman? Perhaps a Woman type creature in her 30's... She smiled and attempted to speak the English language. The Troll woman's dog began to get more curious over the healthier looking Dog who was attached to this magical string that I was holding.
Thinking it was time to make my exit, yet again I told Ms. Troll creature to have a good night and thought that would be the end of it. I was wrong. Before I could fully turn to leave the Troll Elf lady asked me if I had any drugs on me to which I responded no and made a hasty exit down the sidewalk. I believe the gang of Cats could belong to her even though most likely feral.
As Bailey and I got closer to the front side of the Apartment complex things just seemed to get nicer and safer again. Less trash on the ground. No baseball bats in the back of pickup Tucks. No street gangs of wild Cats or troll like creature's. I looked up at the Moon and the Moon gave me a smile and a wink. Even the Moon knew I was out of immediate danger. Thanks Moon breh!
The next few months are gonna be full of interesting night walks that's for sure. Next time I'll have to remember to bring my camera. I have a feeling I'll be seeing more cat's, trolls and who knows what else in the night's to come.

Just woke up from my latest dream... Wanna hear about it?
I was supposed to meet my GF @Tyny_Ty but it looked like somebody was running late.... again. The waitress came by and I ordered the Veal Marsala. Cause Veal is awesome! Already my dining experience was kinda bad cause the waitress was giving me bothersome small talk every time she came by to... uh, my shower. She kept talking to me about dogs and if I had a dog and what kind of dog it was and how she had four dogs and that they were all show dogs... Jesus.... I dunno.
So when I get out of the shower I look at the table and I see a big huge ass tray of Nachos n' cheese and like several Tacos. I was confused because I ordered the Veal Marsala damn it! I'm told everything was alright and that the kitchen messed up somebody else's order and this was just extra and on the house for me. So I was still getting my original order.
I was still pissed about this cause I couldn't just scarf down like 3 dinners at one seating. She said that she could just throw it away for me if I couldn't eat it all. That's when I started yelling at them how they were wasting food and how restaurants are so wasteful every night by throwing out so much food. There's no way all this was being thrown out and I told them to box it up and said maybe I'll give it to the homeless outside since I guess the homeless like to hang around outside the shower restaurant for whatever reason.
So of course it's at this point where this tweaking looking guy wearing a hoodie strolls up beside me, whips out a gun and sticks it right behind my head and tells me not to move. All the people in the restaurant are sticking their heads out of their showers looking at what all the commotion is. My waitress screams and drops my Veal Marsala!!! I start cursing and behind me I can feel the trigger being pulled against my head in slow motion as I wake up in bed bringing my body fully upright.
I guess it's a good thing @Tyny_Ty was running late after all. That tweaking punk should have shot my lousy waitress instead. She sucked. She dropped my Veal Marsala!
I never did get the name of that restaurant.... Also, never wear your hood up while indoors kids. It's just stupid and makes you look like a punk.
Going back to sleep now....maybe. Goodniiiiiiiight! :D

Almost 5 years
The past several months I've begun to change. Not the way I do walkthrough's. Although my equipment and quality has come a long way... The type of content I put up. I like to post vids about my other interests now. I'm not too sure why I never mainstreamed myself more or put my face out there before now but I'm enjoying it and I have a lot of ideas I'd like to explore. I'd certainly like to do more and more camera type projects in near future.
Like it or not, the video game walkthrough scene has become a form of business for people and it's caused many to have to change or rethink the way they put out videos and content. Partnerships are handed out like candy and the Youtube gaming community has become saturated with too much content and competition. That's just the way it is. That's the way it's going to be for for awhile. You never know what changes could happen in the future though. If things change for the worse a lot of the same people wouldn't be putting out content at all.
Many people just have a passion for games and making videos to inform and entertain. People who have been doing it for a short or long time. There are a lot of other people who enjoy playing games and like making gaming videos sure. Problem is they don't really care as it's played in an uncaring manner and a lot of content is put out quickly because it's good for their own business. Fair game? It's all about new releases and no one will deny wanting to get a game out before anyone else.
Some people care, some people don't. Some people race, some go at their own pace. I fall somewhere in the middle. Also, I of course believe everyone has the right to upload videos onto youtube in whatever category they fall. In the end I am having fun and excited with the direction I'm taking my channel. I've been doing this for almost five years and these last few months have had the most changes for me so far. So the future of DavetheUsher is looking good and I'll always love my fanbase.
Yeah I know. Went on a rant or two again.

Some of my thought's on eating Exotic Foods.
I've been a fan of Andrew Zimmern's show "Bizarre Foods" for the last several years. Sure it was interesting an
That soon led me to a few websites such as this one. http://www.exoticmeatmarkets.com/
This is where I learned about most of the animals you could legally eat in the U.S. and the U.K. I found it interesting that in the U.K. you could eat animals like Zebra, Springbok, Impala, Wildebeest, Kudu etc.... but you can't get them here in the U.S. Really? Why? Why can't we have those for sale here but I can purchase Camel, Peacock, Black Bear, Eland, Swan and Lion. Lion!!! By the way did you know you can't eat a certain type of Swan (Mute Swan) in the U.K. because they are owned by the Crown? So strange.
So it's this kind of research that leads me into reading who can eat what animal where and who can't. I learn about African bush meat and how people actually smuggle meat into certain countries. Bush meat smuggling is actually a real problem and can lead to diseases in humans. People smuggle Tiger, Bat, Cane Rat, Chimpanzee, Elephant, Horse.... Every type of animal meat you can think of. Something that gives places like Exotic Meat Market a bad name.
For me the research is half the fun. I enjoy searching the internet, reading up on the consumption of certain animals, seafood, vegetables, etc.... The good and the bad. No matter what there's always a bad side. I try and learn everything I can and there's so much to learn. You won't find it all at once. Just when you think it's done and there's nothing else left to read about you suddenly think about something else. Dairy products! Of course! The search will never be over. Not for me.
How about some random food talk now. Did you know the majority of the worlds Horse meat comes from Horses from OUR (U.S.) country!? They are sent out to be slaughtered in Canada and Mexico then shipped out to places like Italy, France and other parts of the world. Horse slaughter farms and the selling of Horse meat has been illegal here in the U.S. until just recently thanks to Obama. A few ranchers at this moment are trying to get Horse slaughter ranches set up, new jobs created and producing but because of certain politics it's been quite difficult. In the next several months of so Horse meat might be able to be purchased for consumption here once more. I believe a restaurant in new York has been selling Horse on occasion. We'll see what happens.
Horse meat is actually one of the bigger controversies in the U.S. Not only because people see the Horse as more of a companion type animal like the Dogs and Cats BUT because all these Horses haven't been raised for food. They were raised for racing or for other services. They have been given certain types of medicines and injections to improve the Horse's health in whatever services they are used for. Horse abandonment is also very high in the U.S. leading to illegal selling of Horse meat. Sometimes horses are even stolen from people for their meat. It's because of this that could lead to some issues with the selling of Horse meat and makes me a tad weary myself come the day I'll be able to purchase it. I still need to do more reading up on that.
Did you know that Black Bear meat can have certain parasites called Trichinosis caused by eating raw or undercooked pork or wild game? This can cause you to get a parasitic disease. This means the meat has to be cooked very very thoroughly. This has lead me to be a tad weary on the ordering Black Bear meat but I hope to at some point. Pigs used to have this issue as well but rarely anymore since they are easier to monitor and farm than Bears are. I guess that's why we have "the big three." Easier to monitor and farm.
It's researching stuff like this now that leads me to people opinions on these subjects and how people think it's sick and horribly wrong to eat certain animals like Horse, Zebra and Lion. Animal rights activism goes to great length to stop certain people and businesses from selling meats from these animals. Organizations like PETA think we should only eat meats from "the big three" I guess. Or not eat meat at all... I don't know.... So many of those people are animal right activist terrorists that do more shady things than the meat companies themselves. Or some PETA members just don't want animals to be wrongfully abused and tortured. You can't argue with that. It's a crap shoot. Some of them are nut job terrorists and some are very good people who uncover a lot of horrible people and places where there's the mistreatment of animals during their stay at farms and during the butchering process. Some people do good work to stop animal cruelty. Just like Religion, leave it to the fanatics to ruin something for the cause.
The owner of Exotic Meat Market, Anshu Pathak, a very nice businessman, who I have had the chance to talk to on several occasions has been under fire over the years for the business that he runs. He has received negative criticism, death threats and has been falsely reported to certain organization's about the conditions and activities of his farm. Do you believe this nonsense? He simply welcomes them in as he has nothing to ever hide. He welcomes in guests which I hope to be the next time I make way out to California. Who would have thought terrorism would exist in the food industry. Abortion, gay marriage, capital punishment..... food. I suppose it is an important subject that needs to be discussed at great length. After all it's about what we as Human beings are eating. Really though... It can go as far as death threats!? Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised.
So while you can expect people to have outrage over the selling of Lion meat, (understandably) an animal while not an endangered species is a vulnerable one. Anshu Pathak does not import them. Before he started receiving and selling the meat of the Lion it was discarded by people who simply purchased the skins. The act of killing an animal just for the sake of it's skin or any other trophy is something I am very much not in favor of. I will say as controversial as it is, if i get the opportunity I do intend to try Lion. this is where i stand as of now.
I like many of you of course don't want animals to be abused and tortured for my consumption. That's why some people don't eat things like Veal and Foie gras. Some methods have changed somewhat over time in some places but it still does go on. Veal are baby cows that are slaughtered days after birth and during that time are kept in crates unable to move much. Foie gras is a fattened Duck or Goose liver. It's fattened up because the animals have been forced fed to increase the liver size. This type of stuff has lead to controversy. Animal abuse or no? What do you think?
It's not even just different meats anymore that only excites my enthusiasm now. Different kinds of Seafood, Fruits, Vegetables, Dairy.... Dairy is a huge one that interests me lately. Who doesn't drink Cow milk? People who are lactose intolerant and have certain allergies don't. Did you know Milks such as Camel or Goat are lower in lactose, higher in vitamin C and are healthier than your regular Cows milk? Did you know until recently it was illegal to sell Camel Milk in the U.S.? I just find it interesting how things are. The way the laws are for these types of topics. Goat, Sheep, Camel and even Buffalo milk are available and can be found. Ever hear of Pig milk? That's an interesting read. I'd like to get a hold of Pig milk sometime. Wonder why we don't have Pig milk? We have so many of farms. I'll let you look that one up. It's an interesting read. The Cow though.... Damn. The perfect animal to milk.
So what are we supposed to do? Are we just supposed to buy "the big three" and a few other types of meats and eat them day after day after day for the rest of our lives!? Are we supposed to walk into our grocery stores like little robots and place the same cuts of meats into our shopping carts go home and cook the same products? Buy processed brand foods and beverages like Tyson, PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola, Jimmy Dean, etc... Are we always supposed to stock up on the same stuff all the time? We can never branch out? Try new things?
Do we have to drive down our streets and see a McDonalds and Burger King on every corner? Watch as families pile into them like Zombies and order fake ass garbage trash food Burgers. Soulless empty Burgers and meat products that just leave you feeling fatter unsatisfied and hungry an hour later. Or are you one of those people who are just closed minded into thinking that eating anything other than "the big three" is gross and weird. Some would say, "Ewww yuck I don't want to eat meat cut from animals like Llama, Quail, Kangaroo, Goat, Camel, Frog etc..... That's sick and wrong. You can't do that! Camel milk? Moose cheese? Ostrich egg? That's gross." Yeah, go enjoy that Big Mac and Double Whopper with extra fries. Have fun at Denny's where bacon is included in the water. Some people may not enjoy meat products for personal preferences and that's fine. It's not for everyone. For people like me I've just become so bored of the same thing over and over again. Some people just can't get over the thought of it because our society's brainwash us with Fast foods and "the big three" since it's just so much easier to farm and slaughter them. Also, not to say that you can't eat at fast food places sometimes... well certain ones. Just not every damn day! Every damn meal! It's pretty obvious that it has become a huge problem for us. I only wish this food bomb went off in my head years ago.
It's just hard to break away from animals like the Cow I guess. The Cow. The perfect slaughter animal. What is it about you that makes you the ideal animal to get meat and milk from? Is it because you are so docile? That does play a huge factor. It's just so much easier to get Milk from a Cow. They just stand there. Camel's will kick. Cows will just go with the flow and be herded anywhere you want when you want to process them for their meat. Emu's are huge birds with sharp talons. A little more risky yes? I guess it makes sense why "the big three" are and always will be "the big three". Still, why can't we put more of an effort into mainstreaming certain animals like Ostrich, Deer and Alligator? Animals that are only somewhat exotic. I want to find these animals in more Restaurants. I want to go to grocery stores and see these animals in the frozen meat isles. I want to see families preparing these animals for Sunday Dinner. It's time for us to stop being freaked out by the concept of consuming an animal that doesn't fall into the category of....."the big three"!
Did I divert or get side tracked from the original question at all? I hope that answers you somewhat with my all over the place ramblings as to why I'm so interested in Foods that are not considered the norm. There's still so much more to learn and I'm going to continue my quest. This is me. DavetheUsher.

Have you ever boycotted anyplace or anything?
After reading about Chk-fil-A's questionable history and recent events I'm not sure anymore... Not that I even go there often. Can't remember the last time I did. There's always better places for me to go to like Wawa, Subway.... Maybe order some Llama burgers from Exotic Meat Market.
Not only are the statements anti-gay but there's an arrogance factor that comes off that annoys me just as much. This is why any corporation, no matter how large or small should ever take these sorts of stances and announce these types of statements. Junk food juggernauts like McDonalds and Subway would never pull this kind of shit (let's hope not). Regardless of the President's values or lack there of.
Another thing that annoys me even more are the masses of ignorant dunderheaded jack asses that back Chick-fil-A's stance by saying the most asinine things. So those would be the people standing in the lines next to me while I wait to order food? In a way it's statements actually draws in more of a certain type of customer. Count me out.
Like I said I rarely ate there anyway so does my boycott really matter since I was never a big Chick-fil-A customer in the first place? What happens is the next place turns out to be Subway, Sonic or my beloved Wawa? I got to Wawa weekly. Let's say it is Subway for whatever the controversial reason it is and I still ate there cause I would eat there all the time. Could I really say shit about Chick-fil-A then? By the way. the chain is closed on Sunday. Yep. Sunday. See my Sunday rant below. Are you surprised?
I'm only taking about Food chain's too. There's more than food chains that could be brought up. So what do you guys think?

The day of Sunday.
What law states that laundry day must be reserved for the weekend? Sunday in particular. What is it about the day of Sunday? Does laundry have something to do with God? Are we washing away the weeks worth of sin from our clothes to start anew? Is that how it works?
Also, why do all the Beer warehouses (PA stores) close at 6pm on Sunday? A few hours earlier than the rest of the weeks normal business hours. I mean come on! They even give you a little wine at Church Sunday but if you run a little late going out to do some Sunday errands you get booze screwed cause all the stores are closed? This makes no sense to me. Stop that!
And also! Why the hell does Sunday begin the new week? Who fucking made this rule up!? It makes no sense to me. Sunday. The last day of the Weekend. The day before the "busy" week begins. Begins! Sunday feels like the end of the week. Not just for the people who have to go back to School. For the working man/woman who has to go back to work. Obviously Sunday feels like the end of a week. Not the beginning.
In conclusion. I'll do my laundry on any day I feel like it. That's right. I'm breaking the laundry day code and I don't give a fuck. I'll have more than just a sip of wine from a chalice if I feel like it. For me. Sunday will always be the end of the week. Monday will always be the beginning.
What a narcissistic asshole of a day. Get over yourself Sunday.

Unexpected Awesomeness
The following is an unexpected run in I had with a fast food Restaurant back in August 2011. It was so awesome I had to post it again.
----------------------------------
I just had an awesome unexpected experience. I'm not sure why I'm so jacked up over this but I am. So here we go! I pretty much have eaten at all the big Fast Food Burger chains with one large exception. Always seeing commercials for this place too and it pisses me off cause none are in my general area.
I'm not big on always eating Fast Food anyways cause it's unhealthy as shit for ya mostly and why eat that garbage when you could always go to Subway and get a fucking beautiful Italian BMT foot long. Not only that but my awesome state of Pennsylvania has Wawa. Open 24/7 with machines that print out orders from Hoagies to wraps and everything else in between.
Anyway, I was driving back from Best Buy which is only like a 10 minute drive away from me when all of a sudden my eye catches something awesome. A fuckin' Sonic Fast Food Restaurant. I use this road all the time! When the fuck did this place pop out from? I've never eaten from a Sonic ever! Holy shit this is unexpectedly awesome!
Not even being really hungry I had to pull into this place. It looked awesome. I saw parking spots where you could pull up and order from Computer Menu's. Hi-Tech crazy shit man! Being too blown away to even attempt the Hi-tech classy crazy shit. I just decided to roll through regular Drive Through style. I was looking at the menu a bit letting my brain absorb as much as it could in mere seconds. I was really only looking to just grab a Burger just to sample this new foreign Fast Food place that has suddenly landed in my own back yard.
So I made my order. Nothing special. Nothing crazy. It was already crazy enough! I ordered one Sonic Burger with lettuce, mustard and pickles. Good stuff. I didn't want to drive while eating so I just pulled off to the regular parking spots cause I needed time to check this mother out. I opened up the brown bag and what was inside was this hardcore metallic like wrapper that was built like a fort. A fortress. With some sort of fold over part. Nothing was gonna fall out of that sucker. Nothing!
The Burger itself was huge. Massive. It was pumped up. This was no Ronald McShitAss food. Not thrown together and smushed up like some sort of greasy turd. This was more Restaurant like type food. At least in appearance it was. Not only did it look good but it tasted great. Mine wasn't even that fancy. This was some high quality shit here. As far as Fast Food goes at least. There's nothing better than grilling up some Burgers with your bro's on the BBQ or ordering a nice meaty one at a nice restaurant but if ya got to go the Fast Food route then Sonic should high on your list!
So that was my awesome unexpected Fast Food experience. I finally got my hands on a Sonic Burger. My tongue thanked me then and there and ya know what I have a feeling that even my asshole will be thanking me later tonight as it plops out a hot fat Sonic log. "Thanks for the big Sonic ploppers Dave!", my ass will say to me. The experience will be divine I'm sure.
A Month or two ago I had McDonalds ass food and thought I was about to keel over after consumption and blow out my asshole. I told myself I'd never eat Fast Food again. Well now I have to make an exception to my promise. It's for Sonic! I can't wait to head back there and check out more of that crazy Hi-Tech shit and other awesome food they got on that menu. After doing this review I now feel like Sonic should pay me for my Kudos. Well, pay me in Burgers bitch!
